Writer and photographer, Carla launched The Strawberry Story alongside her creative counterpart, fiancé Joel and together they have forged an editorial aesthetic of storytelling and escapism that transports and transcends.

During her school days, Carla developed an affinity for photography and after many years spent in the dark room, Joel and Carla leapt into the digital world and never looked back.

Initially, The Strawberry Story started out like many blogs, a way to document photos and stories from travels and life in their hometown Sydney, Australia. But as their devotion to creativity grew so did their comprehension that this was the perfect way to share the magic they found in every day. From their adoration of the sea and the perfect beachside spots to the discovery of the most delicious gyoza ever to hit their taste buds, authentically sharing these became a reality.

Travelling, learning and experiencing the world around them is what provides them energy and inspiration. They hope to continue to inspire you to seek out and explore the amazing world around you whether it be in their Australian backyard or on the shores of Lake Como. So, Carla and Joel along with their adorable Shiba Inu puppy, Ocean hope to see you here and on their adventures!
