Aperitivo Time

Winter has almost left Sydney behind for the year and with daylight savings blessing us with longer evenings, it's time to make the most of aperitivo hour!

J and I took a drive down to the harbourside suburb of Wooloomooloo to checkout the pop-up bar, Molo. It heralds straight from the land of Aperol's and Bellini's, serving the aforementioned in addition to many unique, regionally sourced wines from around Italy with (somewhat unheard of in Australia) typically Italian 'nibbles'. We were already sold. 

 

 

 

 

 

We were in no hurry to leave our prime people-watching spot so we decided to order some larger items from the seasonal menu; burrata with caviar and beetroot, calamari salad and whitebait. They were delicious! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Feeling like we could squeeze in one more bite (and enjoy the view a little longer), we ordered the incredible deconstructed pistachio, milk and berry dessert and of course, coffee. 

 

 

 

 

After a little exploring it was time to head home from our true taste of Italy.
